There was no location sound involved in the B-roll shoot, so only camera audio was available for PFX. Most camera audio was unusable, so unless it had dialogue, all sound design was redone from scratch.
This is a before and after of the sound from the Picture lock to the final master with full sound design
This is an example of the quality of the camera audio. Because you could see his lips move, synced sound was necessary. The camera audio was peaking and distorted.
With a significant amount of work and plugins, I was able to restore the few camera audio lines that required synced sound. This video is an example of one of them.
